El 9 de octubre de 1980, en su cumpleaños No. 40 John Lennon anunciaba su regreso a la escena musical tras 5 años de retiro con este sencillo, el cual lamentablemente no alcanzaría la 1ra. posición sino hasta el asesinato de John 2 meses después.
